Mission Statement Slug to Slug is UCSC’s premier student philanthropy organization. We work to support the campus community by organizing opportunities for students to give back. In order to build this sense of community we aim to give students the chance to engage in philanthropy at an appropriate level, educate students on the impact of philanthropy, and give students opportunities to show their gratitude; which is where volunteering comes in! Slug to Slug volunteers help out with a multitude of events, most of which involve UCSC alumni, and all of them help build Slug Pride.
Volunteer Duties The duties heavily vary depending on the event. Often they include miscellaneous tasks like working a sign in table for an alumni event, greeting alumni, or helping out at one of Slug to Slug's student run events on campus.
Notes

Slug to Slug is unique in that it is geared directly to support the Slug community, and thus, we only supply volunteers for UCSC sponsored events.
